EXCLUSIVE: Cross River High Court bars Secondus from parading himself as PDP chairman

A Cross river State High Court sitting in Calabar, has issued fresh order barring Prince Uche Secondus from parading himself as National Chairman of PDP and performing the roles of the office.

Granting an interim order in the suit No HC/240/2021, the court restrained him from assuming the office of National Chairman of the 2nd Defendant, while seeking re-election to the office of the National Chairman of the 2nd Defendant pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

The court also restrain him from participating at the National Executive Committee meeting scheduled for Saturday.

This fresh order was issued by the presiding Judge, Justice Edem Kufre on Friday.

It will be recalled that Uche Secondus was suspended as National Chairman of PDP following a restraining order by Rivers State High Court on Monday.

The order came as a result of expulsion from the party by members of his ward in Andoni local government area of Rivers state.

The case was adjourned to 7/(/2021) for the hearing of the motion on notice.
