The commissioner of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in charge of Lagos state, Imohimi Edgal, has been reportedly redeployed by the law enforcement authority which has also announced his replacement as Kayode Egbetokun.
Edgal was redeployed to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
He is to work there as the commissioner of police in charge of explosive ordinance unit.
TheNewsGuru gathered that the police authority picked Kayode Egbetokun as acting police commissioner in the state.
Edgal Imohimi assumed office as Lagos CP on August 31, 2017. Before then, he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Lagos State.
