EPL: Chelsea manager, Graham Potter recommended for sack

Chelsea boss, Graham Potter is under fire for his side’s poor run of form in the past few weeks.

Chelsea have been told to sack him following his latest disappointing defeat to Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Former Aston Villa captain, Gabby Agbonlahor made this claim, saying that Potter should be relieved of his duty at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues were beaten 1-0 by Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday and followed that up with another defeat to bottom of the table Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

The Saints were without a manager but still managed to beat Chelsea by a solitary goal on Saturday to compound their woes.

“He should be sacked for that post-match interview,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.

The Gaffer during his post-match press conference,  said he had to make some changes because of the Champions League  fixture.

Potter said he had to bring some different players in against a settled and organised Southampton.

“What are you talking about? They [Southampton] haven’t got a manager! You’re playing against a team that is in disarray, that can’t get back-to-back wins together, and you’re complaining about what?

“You had to bring [Mykhailo] Mudryk off the bench. You had to start [Joao] Felix, are you joking me?” Agbonlahor fumed.
