BREAKING: President Tinubu signs new minimum wage bill into law

President Tinubu on Monday signed the new minimum wage bill into law days after the National Assembly had passed the bill.

Tinubu signed the new law at 2 pm at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The law which prescribes a minimum of N70,000 as monthly salary, is reviewable every three years.

The brief ceremony was witnessed by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, among others.

Tinubu signed the bill midway into the Federal Executive Council meeting.
