Thousands of protesters marched in Delta on Tuesday to express their frustration over the difficult living conditions under President Bola Tinubu’s government.
The protest emerged from the #30DaysRantChallenge, which was initiated by Youth Corper Rita “Raye” Ushie Uguamaye who openly criticized President Tinubu’s administration, calling it “terrible.”
Participants, particularly young people in the challenge have been voicing their complaints about the economic hardships they are facing. However, the situation escalated when youths in Delta State took to the streets to hold a peaceful protest against the government’s policies.
An X user, Bacos, shared a video of the protest, stating, “Breaking!!! Delta youths transformed their #30DaysRantChallenge into a peaceful protest. They said, ‘Asiwaju, everybody is tired of you; it’s time to go.’ The pain, hardship, and agony are overwhelming.”
