Identity of man who almost ‘attacked’ President Tinubu in Kaduna revealed

The individual who attempted to breach protocol and approach President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his official visit to the state has been identified as Umar Mohammed, a resident of Anguwan Muazu, Kaduna.

TheNewsGuru reports that the Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, disclosed that Mohammed is known to suffer from a psychiatric disorder, which he has lived with since birth.

The police clarified that the incident, which briefly disrupted the event, was a result of Mohammed’s excitement to see the President up close.

No incriminating item was found on him,” the statement added.

A viral video had surfaced, showing moment security operatives swiftly intervening as the man moved toward President Tinubu, who calmly responded, “Leave him alone,” before continuing his speech.

The incident occurred during the unveiling of a 300-bed specialist hospital in Millennium City, Kaduna, named after President Tinubu.
