The mother of late Content creator Sanku Comedy has addressed rumors about the late skitmaker’s alleged involvement in rituals to boost his popularity before his tragic death in a car accident.

In a recent interview, the grieving mother expressed her disappointment over the baseless rumors, emphasising that her son had no involvement in any form of rituals.

She also disclosed that the comedian had vowed to set her up in business and take full responsibility for the family before death cut his life short.

In the emotional video, Sanku’s mother vehemently denied the rumors, stating that her son never used spiritual items or consulted herbalists.

According to her, Sanku often attributed his success to her prayers, frequently asking her to keep praying for him, “You can’t give him any spiritual item that he will ever use. He always says it’s my prayers that are working for him,” she said, speaking in Yoruba.

“Nigerians help me. I am in deep sorrow. Sanku was the breadwinner of our family. He was my 5th born out of 6 children. He was taking very good care of me and his siblings. He made a lot of promises to me that de@th did not allow him to fulfill. I have no helper. Sanku was the only helper I had. He told me to put my mind at rest that he would establish me. The last time he called me was three days ago. He told me he would be traveling somewhere not knowing that would be the last I would hear from him.

“I suffered a lot on them before God raised him up. I am a pepper seller. He already told me to stop selling pepper and that he would establish me in a big business. When the accident happened, They told me he was getting better at the hospital not knowing that he had d!ed. To everyone saying my son did money rituals, that is a blatant lie. He was a devoted muslim and very hardworking. He loved comedy right from a young age. Nigerians, may you not know the graves of your children.”

Sank died on Monday, after his car veered off the Oyo–Ogbomoso Road in Ibadan, Oyo State and plunged into a ditch. He was rushed to the hospital but later confirmed dead.
