GENESIS 18:11-14.
Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age: and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, and my Lord being old also? And the Lord said unto Abraham, wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of Life, and Sarah shall have a son.
*In GENESIS 21:1-2. And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
JEREMIAH 32:17. Ah Lord God! Be hold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
LUKE1:34-38. Then said Mary unto the angel. How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee :therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. For with God nothing shall be Impossible. And Mary said, Be hold the handmaid of the Lord: be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Three major fundamental principle characters which will help you to make things possible
*know that you have no power to create the change, reason: the situation is greater than your capacity, you are naturally limited with power.
*consciously report yourself and your situation, circumstances unto God Almighty with this fact in your heart that it is He only who created heaven and earth that can give unto you change.
*then reverse from natural believe, natural faith and supernaturally be connected with God by believing Him, at the same time have faith in Him, without conditions.
*Mary after hearing from the angel the good news, she received the good news by accepting it, she believed the good news.
*the good news gladened her heart, she was excited that God considered her and then chose her of all women. She had faith in God. With the joy in her, she said for with God all things are possible.
*The case of Abraham and Sarah should teach us a great lesson that we should learn to exercise patient with Life. Abraham and Sarah hath excellent relationship with God, yet God was not in a haste to give them babies. Sometimes, we make terrible mistakes because we want it to happen now. If we have Spiritual understanding of the law of Life, then we will have wisdom to flow with Life using one of the principle character of faith which is patience, then, we will be patient with ourselves. Mrs Abraham must have said within her that age is not on her side, she was running out of time for child bearing. Naturally it was tough for her as a woman,” yes “she must have cried in secret begging God for a baby.
*Because God is quiet on your case does not mean that He has forgetten you. He is at work slowly, gently, patiently pending the time He has appointed to favor you. What looks naturally Impossible can become possible. When all your hope is gone from you which means you have come to the end of the road, at this point turn to God, depend on Him. All their personal effort to have children with Sarai produced no fruit. Sarai suggested to Abram that he should go to bed with the maid which resulted in Ishmael. If you create the problem and you want God to help you solve it, you should be willing and ready to wait patiently for Him.
*GENESIS 16:1-4. Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, be hold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid :it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. And Sarai Abram’s wife took
*Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram hath dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife (second wife). And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived :and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
When God decides to favor you, celebrate your season with carefullness in your heart, reason: your moment is today, it will be someone else tomorrow. Because it is not of your own will that you are favored but God who has showed mercy unto you.
*Seasons comes and season change. Under the heaven, there is time for every thing. If you are down today it is temporary. One is up the next minute, the same God who is faithful to change this person’s situation will change yours.
*Hagar seeing she is pregnant showed disrespect to Sarai, but without Sarai’s permission, she would not have come near Abram. Be careful when God shows mercy on you because no condition is permanent. Life is full of challenges, situations, problem upon problems, as long as you are still alive. The dead don’t have problems, they are dead only the living does. Understand that you can not have life lessons from a class room, you will learn about Life as you journey naturally.
*The church will teach you how to trust Him (God) for your daily living. If you take short cuts to solve your problem today, the greater part of the problem will surface tomorrow, Sarai created short cut, that short cut is what has created the problem the whole world is experiencing today. The world is seriously looking for change from pages of books, conferences, summits, seminars, etc. But these cannot provide the solution the world craves for.
*To create solution, the whole world should humble itself and fall down before God pleading for mercy, asking Him to forgive us of our sins. Nations across the world are desperately in need of political and economic solutions. The only one Who can provide solution is God. CAN MAN HUMBLE HIMSELF WITH SINCERE HEART OF REPENTANCE BEFORE GOD THAT HE MAY SHOW MERCY TO MAN? I am aware that God has power to help man, woman, boy and girl who come to Him with genuine heart full of faith and obedience in believing that He is able.
Across the world unemployment is rising daily, the prices of food stuffs in the market are ever changing. Factories, businesses have closed down. There is hardship every where, faces are covered with dark clouds of pain. There are questions in the hearts of people across the world begging for answers. Children daily drop out of school, parents don’t have means to generation money.Youths who have finished from the university, polytechnic find it difficult to get jobs, and there is no money to start businesses. Some have taken to crime. Who can help them? WHO DO YOU TURN TO at such moments? THE GOVERNMENT IS CONFUSED. Politicians WILL CONTINUE TO DECEIVE the people. They promise the people heaven on earth just to have their votes. Afterward, what you receive from them is thank you! How long will you allow yourself to be deceived? There are beggars in every street in Lagos. God is aware of your problem but He wants you to draw close to Him. Situations and circumstances can make you walk away from God, riches can make you walk away from God. So, the prayer for this moment should be: God have mercy.
Psalm 107:6.Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger.
Has God forgotten man He created to face Life all by himself? The truth is man some how has spiritually run away from God because his ways and God’s ways are not the same.
*In life there are mountains, hills and valleys which have to do with us . Each one of these represent something in our lives. Scripture says that we are troubled on every side but not destroyed. No matter what you are going through in life, understand that you might be down, but that is not the end, you are not out. Do not give up on yourself, do not give up on God but rather seek to draw His attention with your faith, believe also in Him, take hold of yourself, control your thought, speak words to create peace in your heart. God is mindful of you, do not allow sorrow to quench your faith. Things might not be working out according to your plan, do not allow fear to capture your heart. God visited Abraham according to the time He appointed.
*MATTHEW17:20. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for very I said unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove: and nothing shall be Impossible unto you.
God will help you but learn to be patient with God. If you are in a haste, you will not be able to wait for His own time. God said unto Abraham that He will return unto him at the appointed time. Their joy was Full. Life have seasons. Ask God for understanding and wisdom to handle Life gently. God will visit you, God will change your Impossible circumstances.
Jesus said this to the man who had an impossibility case. MARK 9:23. Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. All THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Your faith, your believe are the most important keys you must have as your gate pass to the miraculous.
