In pictures: FG launches National Building Energy Efficiency Code

The federal government yesterday launched the National Building Energy Efficiency Code (BEEC) at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

The event was well attended by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola; Minister of State, Surv. Suleiman Zarma Hassan; representative of the Permanent Secretary, Works & Housing, Mr Ibrahim Tumsah, and the German Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Bernhard Schlagheck.

Also in attendance were BEEC Director and Head of Department, Engineering Services, Engr. AbdulWahab Ajadi Yunus and Acting Head of Cooperation, European Union, Mr Jens Hoegel.
