The ongoing copyright infringement case between Omoni Oboli and Jude Idada has been deferred to a new date. Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court Ikoyi, adjourned the next hearing for the case between Raconteur Productions and Omoni Oboli’s Dioni Visions to May 17, 2017.
Recall that a court on Thursday, March 30, 2017, lifted the injunction on Okafor’s Law and gave the go ahead for it to be released in the cinemas on Friday, March 31.
Though Oboli was absent during the first and second hearing of the case, she made her first appearance in court on Monday, April 3. Oboli was accompanied by veteran filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, who was in court to offer his support.
