Renowned Nigerian filmmaker, and director Kunle Afolayan has lamented the high level of incompetence in Nigeria.
Taking to his Instagram page, Afolayan expressed frustration at how many cry about not having a job, yet when they get one, they become inefficient.
“I am so saddened by the high level of incompetence in our beloved country. A lot of people cry about not having a job, but when they get one, how efficient are they at it? I’m so pissed”
His post sparked widespread reactions from colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom agreed with his sentiments.
Biola Bayo wrote, “Come ask me o. They’ll apply for jobs, call for an interview and won’t show up. The ones you picked will not resume work, or the one who resumes work doesn’t wanna work.”
Stephanie Coker wrote, “I spent the whole weekend discussing this.”
Kiekie wrote, “I am screaming!! This!! It’s alarming!! If you have all the money in this world, you’ll still not get results! The spirit of excellence is zero.”
