Assault: Peruzzi apologizes over slapping social media influencer

Following allegation of assault made by social media influencer, Pamilerin Adegoke, concerning Peruzzi, the artiste has finally tendered his apology.
TheNewsGuru had reported earlier that the singer and his bouncers assaulted the social media influencer in Bayelsa on Sunday, June 9, 2019.
Peruzzi took to his Twitter handle, pleading with the social media influencer to forgive him.

“I did very wrong for yesterday slapping mr pamilerin, let my feelings get the best of me and I am very sorry. Apologies to mr pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love Only, I promise. ,” he wrote.
In the same vein, Peruzzi’s record label boss, Davido took to his Twitter page on Monday, June 10, 2019, to tweet about the incident hours after Peruzzi confirmed slapping the digital marketer.
The celebrated pop-star noted that artistes are humans too, but insisted that Peruzzi had no right to hit him.
“I apologize to you @thepamilerin on behalf of my Brother and Artist @Peruzzi_VIBES he was wrong for putting his hands on you but pple need to realize that we Artist are human beings and we see everything! You said some harsh words too my brother and sometimes this thing dey pain!” he tweeted.

The ‘Sangbana’ crooner on a radio interview also opened up on why he slapped Pamilerin.
In his words:“I slapped him. It was wrong, but I’m a human being. I didn’t assault him o, I wanted to have a conversation with him and it didn’t turn out well.”
Pamilerin alleged that the attack by Peruzzi and his bouncers was ignited by comments made in January about the singer.
After colleague, Teni, won the Best New Artiste at the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival held in January, Peruzzi had complained about the choice, claiming he deserved to have won it.
Pamilerin in a series of tweets, condemned Peruzzi for complaining about the snub.
