Nigerian alternative music artiste, Brymo left Chocolate City in 2013 shortly after the release of Son of A Carpenter, his debut album on the label. After the album release, the singer accused the company of failing to promote the album.
Seven years later, Brymo seem to have put the issues behind him. At the 2018 edition of Nigerian Entertainment Conference, he acknowledged the contributions of Chocolate City, stressing that the label played a significant role in his career.
The singer was a speaker at the 6th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference on Wednesday, April 25.
According to him: “Part of what I enjoy today is because I was part of the mainstream at first. I had songs that catered to the mainstream.Despite everything that has happened, I am grateful to Chocolate City for the role they played in my career.”
