Dancehall artiste, Burna Boy has been given an award by the Academy Music Group (AMG), a popular owner-operator of music venues in the United Kingdom.
The ‘Gbona’ singer got the plaque from AMG in recognition of his sold-out show on Sunday, 7th October.
AMG congratulated the artiste on not just selling out the entire O2 (which holds 4,921 people at maximum capacity), but also putting on a brilliant and safe performance.
The sold out numbers were confirmed by Nielsen – a global measurement and data analytics company that provides the most complete and trusted statistics available for consumers and markets worldwide.
The concert at the O2 Academy was the 4th stop on Burna Boy’s Life on the Outside UK tour.
