Contemporary Nigerian artistes are not alien to intellectual theft allegations. In recent times, Jaywon, Simi , Davido and Small Doctor have been labelled purported culprits in that department.
King Sunny Ade’s erstwhile manager, Mr. Clement Ige, who has worked with KSA for almost forty years, revealed at a recent event that Small Doctor and Davido employed KSA ‘s lyrics without permission. This allegation sparked various reactions on social media.
However, the ‘Penalty’ crooner has suggested that he is not bothered about it.When Vanguard reached out to him to get his reaction on the allegation, his manager Segun Raheem said: “Yes, we have heard about it, but we are not interested in saying anything about it to the media, we’re not saying anything at all about it”.
