Veteran actor, Hanks Anuku who has been visibly absent from Nollywood has slammed the Federal Government.
The outspoken role interpreter in a viral video criticized the government for imposing a lockdown directive in some states without a welfare package for the people.

“I’m angry with this government. They’re crazy! Don’t you now we have children? They didn’t give us money or any relief, are we in jail?”
Anuku also stated in the video that the government officials brought coronavirus to the country.
TheNewsGuru recalls that early in the week, Yvonne Jegede had urged the government to adopt a house-to-house approach in the distribution of relief funds to citizens amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
“With all the billions given out for this pandemic, just one person’s donation can go round. But you people have the effrontery to pocket everything. That money go purge una,” she wrote.
