2face’s annual concert, Buckwyld n Breathless has gained the reputation for being one of the most anticipated entertainment events in the Nigerian showbiz terrain.

Tagged the Lagos Dream Concert, this year’s edition held on Sunday, 22nd of October at the Eko Convention Centre, is evocative of many electrifying moments.

Tiwa Savage’s stage panache

The alluring mother of one still possesses what it takes to thrill fans and get them dancing to her music .

As the only female act that headlined the show with 2Baba, she lived up to what she is known for. In an age where the average female artiste depends on the DJ on the wheels of steel, Tiwa blended with a live band and a full choreographed dance group led by Kaffy.

Another highpoint of her performance was when she brought up Kaffy’s five-year-old son who thrilled the audience with his dance steps.

 

Flavour’s highlife flavor

You can condemn every other thing about Flavour, but detesting his soulful feminine voice is what is difficult to do.

The lanky highlife crooner performed songs like Ada Ada, Golibe and Ogene.

The audience went wild when the colourful masquerade got on stage during his brilliant performance. Clad in a black shirt blended with a black pant, the contemporary highlife sensation gave the audience something to always cherish about the event.

As a means of reliving the memories of the Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti, 2face Idibia did a freestyle on an Afriobeat progression that got the audience cheering in excitement. He also invited music veterans , Sound Sultan and Tony Tetuila to join him on stage .

The African Queen singer has always been known for his ability to create spontaneous vocals at the climax of his performances.

When 2face returned for the second set of his performance, he made everyone emotional when he rendered an RnB tune and dedicated it to his mum who also attended the event.
