A sex addict is someone whose sex drive is at overdrive, obsessive and out of control.
Being married or in a relationship with a sex addict is something most women dread over.
In what was a routine opinion sampling, TNG asked some entertainers what they would do if they suddenly discovered they have married a sex addict.

Well the fact is I would have been aware that he is really addicted to sex while were dating because an addiction is impossible to hide for so long and I’m sure we would have dated for a certain period of time before he eventually became my husband .
If I can put up with it when we started dating, it means I enjoyed every bit of it too. When you really love your partner you will enjoy every minute spent with him on bed

Well for me personally, it would take a while for me to recognize it as an addiction. I would at first think it was just a high sex drive. But once I realize there is more, I would talk to him about getting professional help. But I would approach the subject in a way that makes him feel respected and cared for, not humiliated and weak. Also all addictions come from somewhere, so I would work on addressing the root of the problem that may have caused that dependency .It could be bereavement, bankruptcy, job loss that made him try to find comfort in sex. Women can also suffer from sex addiction. It’s worse for them because they are just seen as whores when that happens and no one wants to help.
