As the crowd gyrate to the blare of trumpet and percussion in the New Afrika Shrine last night, many outside the venue were having a different kind of fun totally different from what those inside were relishing.
Aside from the music, most people visit the shrine in order to experience the seductive atmosphere of the New Afrikan Shrine, the palpable energy and have an opportunity to have unrestrained acess to scooches, indian hemp and ‘ladies of the night’ .
Hundreds who found it difficult to get into the jam packed New Afrika Shrine, resorted to smoking, drinking and generally enjoying the scenery.
Nerdc road Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos, the street that houses the New Afrika Shrine, became a mecca for fun seekers.
