Award winning Kenyan gay author, Binyavanga Wainaina shocked many of his Twitter followers when he took to Twitter to reveal that he is “HIV Positive …and happy”.
The revered author, who is a friend to Chimamanda Adichie revealed his status on Worlds Aids Day, marked on December 1.
Recall that back in 2014, he shocked the world when he revealed his sexuality in a blog post published on africasacountry.com
In April 2014, Time magazine included Wainaina in its annual Time 100 as one of the Most Influential People in the World
