‘Fine lady’ crooner, Lynxxx has revealed that giving his life to Christ cost him a lot of things. The suave singer said he gave his life to Christ as a result of an encounter had with God in 2015.
Speaking during a talk-show called Shop Talk that featured Banky W and other notable public figures, Lynxxx said:”I have interacted with a lot of people since I have been saved. There is a lack of men because a man would rather think of what he stands to gain from taking a certain standpoint, than actually doing it regardless of what it may cost him.
“When I got saved I chose to be very upfront with the truth. When I gave my life to Christ it cost me a lot of things. It still cost me things that till today people don’t understand why I gave them up.
Speaking further he stated that Nigeria is the way it is because people focus on self-service rather than focusing on the service of others.
“There are a lot of people who are in certain positions but don’t know why they are there. Because everything they are doing with that position is for self-service. That brings me to the reason why we are where we are as a nation, it is because self- service comes before the service of others”.
Recall that Lynxxx had revealed in several interviews that he lost friends who could not cope with his new found sense of purpose.
