Yoruba actress, Aisha Lawal earlier today took to her Instagram page to debunk rumours making the rounds that she is dead.
A certain individual had used picture of the actress and her child, saying she died during child birth.
A sad Aisha took to her Instagram page via a video saying:”People have been sending me different messages, saying my picture was posted , with the sad news that I am dead.I am not dead, I am alive.Anyone that is behind this will face the wrath of God.”.
TheNewsGuru recalls that back in 2017, Lawal shared an embarrassing moment in an interview.
“I have had quite a few unpleasant moments but when they happen, I just try to balance things up and take it in my stride. Seven years ago, I was in a public transport with a colleague and some guys seated behind us jeered at us for not having cars. It’s just one of those things that come with being in the limelight”.
Sharing the challenges she encountered when she started out, the svelte actress said:” When I first started, I used to tell my boss that I don’t want to do this anymore and I’d rather go back to the courtroom. It was not easy sleeping at locations but somehow, I’ve been able to pull through and I’m waxing stronger. I always tell those coming into the industry to have an education because the difference between you and the next person is that you have to be extraordinary. There are a lot of issues in the industry and one has to be very proactive”.
