Nigerian rapper and singer, Skales has continued to wax stronger against all odds. The Baseline artiste whose song, Temper is ruling the airwaves has said getting married is not in his plans for the next ten years.
According to him:” Based on the plans I have for myself I don’t see myself getting married ten years from now. Things might change, but for now I am not thinking of getting married ten years from now”.
Over the years, the former EME artiste has switched his sound from hip-hop to Afropop and it has worked for him immensely. Speaking on the metamorphosis in his music, Skales said:” I like to make party music that is who I am. Yes, sometimes I love to chill but I like to party. That is who I am. If I like to party, I have to do the same thing that makes me turn up”.
When asked If its right for celebs to put their personal lives on social media, Skales said:” I have been a victim of so much bashing on social media I will say it’s a bad thing when artistes put their personal lives on social media. It has its good and bad side though. I have been a victim I put my private life in the open , It was like I shot myself in the leg. I see myself like the kid everybody saw growing up. I have never been married, shout out to the person who made that up. I woke up and I heard that I am now a father. Fame is a gift and a curse. It is just crazy”.
