Speaking in a chat with Pulseng, she said: “Yes I have been sexually harassed in Nollywood.I think I will still be sexually harassed. The truth of the matter is that I have come to a place in my own evolution as a person to know that there are things I will do and things I will not do. I will own the things I do and I will not apologize for the things I don’t do. If I am not interested in you, you can come with anything on the planet, I am not interested. It is a matter of value for me. If I am giving myself to someone, there has to be something behind it.For me, it’s a deeper thing beyond fame or a phone. Even if it is just pleasure, pleasure is deeper than a material thing. It is unfortunate that some women have to bend to it”.

Speaking further, ‘The Castle and Castle’ actress averred that fame is not her motive for becoming an actress.

“The reason why I am doing what I do is because I feel like there are people’s stories that needs to be told. One of the fundamental human needs is the need to be seen, that someone has noted your existence. That is why I want to tell stories .If I get to do it one time, I have fulfilled my purpose”.
