I have too much to lose now – Burna Boy speaks after Speed Darlington’s release

Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer, Dami Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has made a cryptic social media post after his colleague, Speed Darlington, was released from police detention.

TheNewsGuru.com(TNG) reports that in October, Darlington was detained after his colleague Burna Boy filed a petition against him, for questioning the authenticity of Burna Boy’s Grammy award, linking the A-list artiste to embattled music mogul Sean Combs, known as P Diddy or Puff Daddy.

Darlington was rearrested barely two months after his first arrest by Burna Boy.

After spending almost a month in police detention, Speed Darlington on Monday, 23 December 2024 was granted bail.

Burna Boy, in a post via his Instagram story on Tuesday, said he does not care about people’s opinions, but his response is always a nuclear disaster.

According to him, his critics are lucky that he has a lot to lose, otherwise, many of them would not be here anymore.

He wrote, “When they talk, nobody cares, but it’s a Nuclear disaster when I react.

“You all don’t know how lucky you are that I have too much to lose now, Walahi a lot of you wouldn’t be here no more. Anyway make I just go buy another thing relax.”
