Nigerian rapper and Chocolate City President, M.I was recently a guest on Loose Talk Podcast show where he defended his Chairman Album stating that it is not his weakest album so far.
The controversy ignited when music critic, Ayomide O. Tayo otherwise known by his initials AOT wrote an article on M.I scolding the rapper for “losing” touch with hip-hop in Nigeria.
M.I went along with fellow CBN act, Loose Kaynon to discuss with AOT and Osagie on the show. Their sizzling arguments was on for 2 solid hours. The vibrancy of the issues raised in the show by both flanks has made the podcast a trending topic on social media.
Speaking about The Chairman album, M.I said:” In the realm of opinions my weakest album is Talk about it. Lyrically, Talk about It was at the point when I didn’t have to do too much to get my point across. There is a time when everything you do will be accepted however you put it out.
