The COSON house on Wednesday 22nd of August 2018 hosted a well attended special tribute night in honour of late Reggae legend , Ras Kimono.
The tribute night was attended by the crème de la crème of the Nigerian music industry who thronged the Ikeja venue of the tribute concert.
The entertainers roll call includes Majek Fashek, Oritz Williki, Rigtheousman, Faze, Essence and a host of others.
Ras Kimono’s daughter, Oge Kimono took the audience down memory lane with her performance of ‘Under pressure’ a song her dad recorded in 1989.The audience were excited Oge could serenade them with such an energetic rendition.

It was indeed a night to remember.
The late singer started out his career as a student of Gbenoba Secondary School Agbor, Delta State and later as a member of the Jastix Reggae Ital, alongside, Majek Fashek, Amos McRoy Jegg and Black Rice Osagie.
