Just like the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Muhammed who said the best Jollof rice is made in Senegal. Nigerian Afropop singer, Mr Eazi has stated that the best Jollof is made in Gambia.
The “Jollof Wars” began on twitter over a year ago and has saturated social media over time. It began as a debate over who “owns” Jollof rice and has now morphed into who “makes the best” Jollof rice.
Mr Eazi who was recently interviewed on Channel 4 News said Gambia Jollof is better than Nigerian Jollof
