Naira Marley reacts after being cleared of Mohbad’s death

Embattled Nigerian singer and leader of the Malian movement, Afeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, has taken to social media to express his heartfelt gratitude to God after being acquitted by a court of any involvement in the death of fellow singer Mohbad.

The court’s judgment, which was made public today, cleared Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy of any wrongdoing in connection with Mohbad’s death, which occurred nearly two years ago.

In a statement posted online, Naira Marley thanked God Almighty for vindicating him and proving his innocence.

His post reads: “And whoever puts all his in Allah, he will be enough for him.”

The singer’s reaction comes as a huge relief to his fans and supporters, who have stood by him throughout the ordeal.
