Popular nollywood Yoruba actress Toyin Adegbola also known as Toyin Ashewo to re Mecca displayed anger and shouted at shoprite management and staffers at Ringroad Ibadan for accusing her daughter of shoplifting.
The actress who was not feeling fine and was on hospital bed when the incident happened upon hearing dashed to the shopping mall to express her anger over her child’s molestation by the security personnel manning the mall.
The actress said her daughter recently returned to the country from abroad where she was based to buy items at the mall.
”My daughter was accosted by security operatives in the mall asking to see her in private, she said she’s married and wouldn’t want to be seen in private .They now told her she stole and they started pushing and molesting her
“‘She is a married woman and not a little girl, she cannot steal, she doesnt steal. Infact this is the receipts of what she bought.
” To my surprise they know us here.This is where myself and daughter come to get items anytime she is in the country.
”I will sue them, i have called my lawyers, they would have to show proof that she stole, otherwise they will be in serious trouble”She said.
