The entertainment industry has once again been thrown in a mourning mood as one of its finest veteran, Toyin Majekodunmi alias ‘Iya Kike’ (popular with the Yoruba genre of movies) died early hours of Monday (January 2nd 2017).
Majekodunmi was married to fellow actor, Solomon Abiodun Majekodunmi, known widely as ‘Baba Kekere’.
The news of her death was shared by actress/movie producer, Bimbo Success. The cause of her death is unknown as at the time of posting.
She featured in numerous Yoruba movies alongside her husband Solomon Majekodunmi-stage name ‘Baba Kekere.’
Prior to moving to acting full time, she worked with the Lagos State Government under the Ministry of Information.
She is described by her colleagues as a very jovial woman who accommodated everyone irrespective of religious background.
