Obi Cubana dragged for sparking ‘Next of kin’ controversy with adopted son

Popular socialite and nightclub owner Obinna Iyiegbu, a.k.a Obi Cubana, has come under heavy criticism for naming his biological first son, Alex, as his next of kin, following controversy sparked by his adopted son’s TikTok claim.

Trouble started after the adopted son of the celebrity barman shared a video on TikTok insinuating that he’s the next of kin to the billionaire businessman. He shared the video saying, ‘Nothing do my shoulder I just realize say, i be next of kin.’

The post generated mixed reactions prompting Obi Cubana to respond via his Instagram page on Tuesday.

The billonaire businessman clarified with photo that is first so Alex is his ‘Next of Kin’ and not his adopted son. Sharing the photo, he wrote: “Ancient and Modern, eyes 👀 on the ball! @dtwalx aka Next-of-kin!”

In the comment section, critics accused the celebrity barman of lacking emotional intelligence and creating divide in his household with his clarification.

Even if she’s quiet about it. Her friend ‘s will pressure her ti do something about it… I am 100 Obi didnt post this himself but he approved it for peace to reign.”
