Rising singer, Collins Ero better known as Preachermafioso has unveiled his new album titled ‘Xrix N Yoso’.
The singer said the new body of work captures personal defeats, disappointing experiences, his troubles with an expired visa and not being able to come back home after the demise of his twin brother.
“The album Xrix N Yoso was released and dedicated to my his late twin and baby sister, the album features songs such as The Matchup, Invincible, which relays up-close and personal frustrating, disappointing experiences, following his relocation to the US in 2013 (Hustling and bustling with an expired visa, and not being able to come back home after the demise of his twin brother”, he said.
The hit single in the album, titled Black Anthem, currently enjoys amazing digital streams and playlist features.In the same vein, the album has accumulated over about half a million streams in various DSPs across the US and Europe in about one month of release.
Sharing the inspiration behind ‘Black Anthem’ a track on the album, he said: “Black Anthem is an Afrobeat song, aimed at inspiring black people all over the world to believe in self, promote self-love, challenge the status quo, and strive to be the greats they’ve been destined to be in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, BLM”.
