Though the rift between members of PSquare, Paul and Peter Okoye, which started two years ago, is threatening to break up the music group, Nigerians are still praying for their reunion.
In the heat of the crisis, Lola Omotayo Okoye, Peter’s wife has been alleged on social media to be the cause of the crises. Anita Okoye, Paul’s wife however debunked the claims in a 2015 interview she granted when the crisis started .
According to her: ”I have no emotions towards the speculations because people don’t know us.I don’t like the fact that they compare both of us because we are different.And she is such a sweet person, when people meet her they are like ‘Oh my God, I didn’t know she was that nice’. It is the media that has portrayed her as the bitch or whatever they have portrayed her as”.
