Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel known professionally as Seal paid a visit to the Afrika Shrine on Thursday, 23rd of August 2018.
The soulful singer popular for his 1994 hit song , ‘Kiss from the rose’, was welcomed by Afrobeat maestro, Femi Kuti and his elder sister, Yeni Kuti.
Seal has won multiple awards throughout his career, including three Brit Awards, he won Best British Male in 1992, as well as four Grammy Awards and an MTV video music awards.
As a songwriter, he received two Ivor Novello Awards for Best Song Musically and Lyrically from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors for “Killer” (1990) and “Crazy” (1991).
An excited Femi Kuti took to his Instagram page to share the news.
He wrote:”My brother seal came to visit us at the shrine”.
