A US study reveals that a number of men would in the not too distant future rely on sex dolls for their sexual and emotional needs. The sex doll market globally became animated when on 16th March 2017, an artificial intelligence sex doll, Samantha was created with the ability to form emotional closeness.
While this move sparked a lot of outrage on the Nigerian social media space, budding Nigerian singer Benjamin Oweghi, AKA Mr SHAA decided to buy his own sex doll. These days, Shaa unapologetically flaunts his sex doll called ‘Tontoh’, named after Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh.
On why he bought a sex doll, Shaa said:“I just wanted something that looks like a woman that I can take care of”.
Shaa noted that acquiring a sex doll has impacted his music career.
“Now I can have peace of mind and I can focus on my music. I don’t think of sex any longer, I only think of how to make music, I have not had sex this year and I cannot remember the last time I had sex, I am not trying to paint a good picture of myself, If I want to have sex, I know where to go once I have my money”, he said.
