I used Wizkid’s ‘Daddy yo’ in ‘Pacific Rim’- John Boyega

Renowned British Nigerian actor,John Boyega, has said he used Wizkid’s song ‘Daddy Yo’, as one of the soundtracks for his forthcoming flick ‘Pacific Rim’.

The’ Star Wars’ actor stated that he had the opportunity to influence creative choices in the film so it was significant to have Afrobeats music in the action flick.

Recall that the role interpreter disclosed that “Pacific Rim”, would heavily target Nigeria as a main marketing spot.

He wrote on Instagram:“One of the most exciting things about producing Pacific Rim Uprising was the opportunity to influence the creative choices.So I put @wizkidayo song “Daddy yo” in the movie. Jaegers need afrobeats too!

“Oh yeah… here’s a video of me listening to this very song. Cool, calm and collected. I think”.
