Popular Yoruba actor, Abimbola Kazeem aka Jigan BabaOja has disclosed that he makes more money on TikTok than he has ever made when he was producing movies.
The 42-year-old actor made this known during a recent interview where he revealed that he started fending for myself better after he joined the video making and sharing app.
According to the actor who has countlessly, encouraged persons living with one form of ‘disability’, the industry marketers frustrated a lot of actors out of the industry.
He also alleged that female actresses can afford luxury, “because they are runs girls who use the film industry to disguise.”
In his words: ‘Apart from all the top actors, hardly will you see a regular actor that has N200k in his account. Why do you think I am on TikTok everyday? It was when I joined TikTok that I started fending for myself.
“I had nothing when I was producing movies. Depression is k!lling most actors today because they have no helper. Some actresses are buying houses and cars because they are runs girls who use the film industry to disguise.
“Marketers also frustrated the lives of actors but when God decided to put them to shame, YouTube came and people started watching movies on YouTube. Many of them are broke now. They are not relevant anymore. They will suffer for what they did in the past.”
