Austria based Nigerian songstress, Rose May Alaba added more feathers to her cap when she composed and performed the theme song for the Special Olympics World Winter Games.
The talented singer has shared her love for Nigerian music, stressing that she would love to collaborate with Nigerian pop stars.
In a chat with TheNewsGuru, the beautiful sister of Bayern Munich forward, David Alaba, said: ”There are lots of artistes I will love to have collaboration with Davido, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage are on top of my list and the regulars.
On how she deals with social media bashing, she said: “I just brush off criticism, if people want to spend their time on social media bashing other people, go on and do it. I won’t respond because I know who I am and my mum taught me better. People have different opinions about everything, the most important thing is for you to know yourself, know your worth. You cannot stop people from having an opinion, what counts is for you to follow your path”.
The Nigerian music landscape is highly competitive, Rose May believes she has what it takes to thrive. Hear her: “My voice is pretty special and unique on its own. It differentiates me from the other artistes out there”.
