Popular video site YouTube has deleted actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli’s latest movie, ‘Love In Every Word’, following a copyright claim.
TheNewsGuru reports that the actress’ latest film garnered an impressive 6.1 million views within three (3) days of its release.
Released on Friday, March 7, the movie, which was produced by Omoni Oboli and written by Mfon-Abasi Inyang, explores themes of love, emotional resilience and communication in relationships.
Former Big Brother Housemate Bam Bam and actor Uzor Arukwe starred in the movie, among others.
The film gained traction, amassing over 2 million views within the first 24 hours and reaching 4.3 million views in just 72 hours on YouTube.
However, on Tuesday, March 11, viewers were unable to watch the movie as a notice on YouTube indicated it had been removed due to a copyright claim by Chinonso Obiora (Skyberry).
The pulldown of the movie by YouTube has sparked confusion and outrage, with many social media users questioning the copyright claim.
