If you have a daughter in UNN, call her – Nigerian activist sends strong message to parents

Self-acclaimed human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has asked parents whose daughters are students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, to ensure they always talk to them about prioritizing their security.

According to Gwamnishu, the management of the institution is allegedly trying to cover up some of the many incidents that have been occurring in the school.

He further shared a story of how a 17 year old girl identified as Joy Eze, was discovered dead  with her face severely battered and swollen a day after leaving home for lectures.

He also recounted how a male and female student were recently kidnapped in the school.

Harrison said this is not the first case that has been received from the institution.

He said, ‘’If you have a daughter in UNN, call her and hold her ears. A lot of things are happening in that school and the school authority are not doing enough to see how they can manage it. and the ones happening, they cover it up. This girl went for lecture and never returned back.

If you have a child in that school, caution them. Talk to them!”
