Top APC chieftain handcuffed, beaten

A video circulating on social media has captured the assault of a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Abdul Majid Mustapha by unidentified individuals.

Mustapha, also known as Dan-Bilki Commander, is popular for his outspoken criticism of former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and the reinstated Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi.

In the video that surfaced on social media,  Mustapha is seen in handcuffs, being interrogated by a group of men who accuse him of insulting Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.

Despite his denials, the men continue to hit him, forcing him to kneel while they film the encounter.

Mustapha is also heard pleading with his attackers to stop, citing a critical health condition.

The video shows Mustapha’s recent criticisms during radio programs in Kano, where he voiced strong opposition to Kwankwaso and the state government’s decision to reinstate Sanusi.

Mustapha has been a supporter of the dethroned Emir, Aminu Ado-Bayero, adding to the tension surrounding his public statements.
