Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi has emerged the winner in several social media polls conducted after Friday’s Vice Presidential Debate.
The debate which was organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) and the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON) had in attendance other aspirants including the incumbent Vice President, Prof. Osinbajo; Umar Getso of the Young Progressives Party (YPP);Alhaji Abdulganiyu Galadima Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, (ACPN);Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN).
In the separate polls conducted by Kakaaki Social, YNaija, Voice of Nigeria (VON), Premium Times among several other platforms monitored by TheNewsGuru, Peter Obi defeated Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who was rated as the first runner up.
Peter Obi was also leading a Facebook poll created by online newspaper Premium Times[PT], however, the poll was taken down on PT Facebook page, without any official statement to made to the public.
