EFCC unmask identity of its Twitter handle handler

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed the identity of its Twitter handle handler.

The Nigeria’s leading anti-graft agency charged with the responsibility of investigation and enforcement of all economic and financial crimes laws in Nigeria joined Twitter in January 2013.

A songwriter and a performer has been the brain behind the success in handling the anti-graft agency Twitter handle that people contemplate openly if the person is a he or a she that is doing the tweeting and re-tweeting of @officialEFCC.

Yesterday EFCC posted a sort of farewell tweet tagging the handler, and revealing his identity in the process.

“You are an excellent communicator; you are special. Good luck for the future and thank you for your service @FshawKingFisher, “The Handler”,” the farewell tweet reads.

The tweet signifies the termination or end of @FshawKingFisher handling of EFCC’s tweets.

“Thank you for trusting my judgment and thank you for the privilege to serve. I wish you greater success going forward. Esprit de Corps,” @FshawKingFisher tweeted in response.

While EFCC is wishing him success in his future endeavours, one thing that is not clear is what @FshawKingFisher is up to next and who will wear the shoes he is leaving at EFCC.

Some tipped him to return to doing music as @Titodafire tweets “Thank you @officialEFCC for giving us back the rare poetic genius! Now music can have @FshawKingFisher back”.

Meanwhile, a reaction to the EFCC by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) handle, @FRSCNigeria raised eyebrows with Chris Emeka‏, @Poshfelly, tweeting “by this tweet u mean he’s the next handler [of] @FRSCNigeria”.

While the FRSC says it is launching a Traffic radio station very soon, it, however, said @FshawKingFisher has not been poached by the FRSC.

“The owl @FRSCNigeria is Noble & Wise enough not to poach a Handler from the Eagle @officialEFCC,” FRSC tweeted.

While many believe no one can fill the vacuum @FshawKingFisher is leaving at EFCC, the EFCC, however, assured of better content delivery from its Twitter handle, saying “Worry not. There is no vacuum. #TheEagle will serve you with the same zeal and purpose”.

@FshawKingFisher, whose real names are Olufemi Olukayode Adeyemi and whose stage name is F Shaw, who joined Twitter in May 2010., is a songwriter, recording and performing artiste.
