Ousted Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff, on Thursday visited Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
TheNewsGuru.com reports that Sheriff arrived at the Vice President’s office at about 3.30pm.
Osinbajo went into the closed-door meeting with Sheriff shortly after presiding over a meeting of the National Economic Management Team.
Moments after, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, joined the meeting.
TheNewsGuru.com reports that while the PDP’s crisis lasted, there were several allegations against Sheriff being a member of the ruling APC. His accusers said he was only acting as the party’s (APC) agent to destroy the opposition (PDP), an allegation that the former Borno Governor blatantly denied.
