Adeboye, Belgore to join Aregbesola in unveiling Osun’s mega school

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Modibbo Alfa Belgore will on Tuesday inaugurate the Ilesa Government High School built by the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Adeboye and Belgore were invited to inaugurate the school because they are among prominent Nigerians that attended the school which had become dilapidated before Aregbesola rebuilt it as a mega school with state-of-the-art facilities.

Also, the former governor of Lagos State who was also the former Minister of Works under the Sani Abacha military regime, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande was among the former students of the school that would be at the inauguration.

The Ilesa Government High School is a replica of the Osogbo Government High School, which was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari on September ‎1st, 2016.

The Commissioner for Education in the state, Mr Kolawole Omotunde-Young said the inauguration of the school was a clear testimony of the resolve of the state government to train the children and build a complete person through the provision of functional, quality and qualitative education.

At a press conference in Osogbo, the commissioner said it would also use the occasion to unveil the distribution of Citizens Identification Initiative Cards called “Omoluabi Cards”.
