Adidi Owhairuoro emerges president-elect of IGSOSA

Iluelogbo Grammar School Old Students Association, IGSOSA, at the weekend elected Engr Adidi David Owhairuoro as its president.

Owhairuoro an indigene of Aviara in Isoko South Local Government in Delta emerged president in a keenly contested online electoral process.

In his acceptance speech, the president-elect appreciated all those who contested with him and members promising to take the alumni body to greater heights of excellence.

“I heartily
appreciate all Members for choosing me as the President-
Elect to lead this Great IGSOSA personalities.

“I have no words to express this heart felt love as you have
displayed. I accept my election to this exalted office of
President of IGSOSA. I am honored beyond measure!

“The victory and the seat is for all of us and a call to serve our
beloved Iluelogbo Grammar School and IGSOSA which I
termed giving back to our foundation.

” I know with your cooperation and collective will on this journey is with
great effort. This coupled with the unflinching support. I believe in you
to help achieve our agenda and vision as outlined in my campaign
manifesto.

“I acknowledge the foundation laid by Apostle Ogbokor and other
Elders. I promise to do more. I know IGSOSA is one family with one
purpose.

“Therefore, I extend my hand of fellowship to Engr. Obiebi
Uyouyo and all other contestants who could not make it to the EXCO to join hands with me to form a formidable team to move IGS forward.

He further stressed that: “The electoral process though was not without its expected debates
and intrigues but was worth it. May I also appreciate the electoral
committee who did an excellent job.

” My thanks goes to the following individuals for their
invaluable contributions to the progress of IGS and IGSOSA.
They are:-
Elder Isaac Ogbokor, Chief Macaulay S., Chief Matthias Otobo,
Chief Ogba Solomon, Pst. (Barr.) Fredrick Ovah, Mr. Oki John
Mark, Mr. Ijeruh Samson, Mr. P Nebe, Mr. Aggripa Ogri, Mr.
Daniel Ebiala, Mr. Efih, Mr Enajedu Simon, Mrs Fovie Aghogho,
Mrs Mary Ideji, Mrs Betty Iteheri, Mrs. Doris Ughegbe, Mrs.
Flora Utunedi, and all women present.

Other personalities are: Mr. Igbide, Hon. Ogwah Mike, Chief
Jonathan Orife, and Surveyor Peter Akarogbe.

” Also, my special thanks go to Mr. Francis Anyare whose calm
disposition to issues, saw the steady growth of IGSOSA to date. I
salute you, sir!

“In the light of all the above, I wish to humbly dedicate this victory and
the President’s seat to God Almighty. He alone will help us to pilot
the affairs of IGSOSA to an enviable heights in Jesus Mighty Name.
“However, I did not forget the motto of Iluelogbo Grammar School
– “Hard work and discipline.” This will form the base for the new EXCO.

“I will be open to advice and constructive criticism, which will form a
good base and synergy to achieve our set goals and objectives.
