In just 30days in office, Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori has brought governance close to Deltans like never before.
Armed with his M.O.R.E agenda that encompasses all segments of corporate governance in Delta, Oborevwori hit the ground running less than 24hours as he mounted the saddle on May 29th.

Before his inauguration, the grassroots politician who climbed the political ladder from the bottom rung had set up a powerful 88-man committee consisting of the best brains in the BigHeart.
The laid down areas of concentration were Infrastructure and Utilities and Human Capital Development.
Others are Social Development & Creative Industry, Entrepreneurship and Job Creation, Peace and Security, Media and Communications, Agriculture and Industries, Environment, Water Resources, and Human Settlements, and Energy, Oil, and Gas.
A clear testimony to the fact that he was prepared to take his state to greater heights of excellence.

In the transition committee there are short term, medium term and long term reports which his government is also studying.
He said:“That is why I am going round to inspect projects. I know the ones that we can inaugurate. We can’t rush to inaugurate projects that are not properly executed.
He said his administration would ensure that only quality projects that meets specifications would be inaugurated for the use of the people.
The projects inspected include the State High Court complex, Asaba; Phases I and II of the Flood Control Measures around Madonna College Road, Okpanam and Drainage Channel around Koka through Agbalusia-Ngele Street to Federal Technical College Asaba.
“We will inaugurate projects that are executed according to specification so that when people see such projects, they will indeed know that we have inaugurated well executed projects, he assured.

Within this short period, he has secured a loan to pay backlog of salaries to put a smile on the face of Deltans.
He did not stop there, when Warri residents came knocking that NEPA transformers had grown wings and flown to unknown destination, he replaced their transformers immediately.
On assumption of office, Oborevwori went on a thank you visits including areas that did not vote for him.
He has kept a silent rule to respect traditional institutions in the state. Just two days ago, he celebrated with the Dein of Agbor who shares same birth month with him.
He has vowed to ensure that his kind of governance will leave no Deltan behind promising them that “I no go fall una hands at all at all”.
He has brought government close to the people ensuring all levels are carried along in his quest to take Delta to another level of massive developmental strides.
