Arsenal legend, Emmanuel Petit has stated only reason Arsenal could miss winning the league title despite leading with eight points.
Petit noted that the present Arsenal boys are determined and only needs to ne focused to nick the title in May.
According to Petit, Arsenal could miss winning the league not because of pressure but a normal thing that happens to a good side in the league.
He said anything good team can lose but he sees Arsenal doing the needful in the last 10 games of the season.
He said eight points is not really big especially when the team trailing has a match in hand.
Arsenal’s next game will be against Leeds United as Mikel Arteta’s side resume their Premier League title challenge after the international break.
“This is one of the youngest teams in the Premier League but they are handling the pressure perfectly,” he said in reaction to Arsenal’s latest win over Crystal Palace.
“I’m confident they will do that until the end of the season. I don’t think they will fail under the pressure, I’m pretty sure they will handle it.”
