The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will meet at the weekend to decide on whether to continue with the ongoing strike.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports ASUU embarked on the ongoing strike, which will elapse March 14, since February 14th.
The union had vowed not to call off the one-month warning strike, standing on the reason that the federal government has consistently failed to keep its promises.
The union said it no longer wants promises from the government side at this time but action.
“ASUU National Executive Council, NEC, To Meet by Weekend to Decide on Continuation of Strike,” a tweet reads on the official Twitter handle of ASUU.
